The company was founded in 1990, when its directors, a group of professionals with many years of
experience in personal and business finance, banded together with a simple aim – to offer clear-cut, uncomplicated finance solutions to customers with the minimum of fuss and the maximum of speed.

Our focus is first and foremost on the customer. We realise as a business we need to be faster, better and easier to use than our competitors. We aim to continually improve the service we offer our customers and continue the same level of excellence, not only during the loan process but on an ongoing basis. We want to make the process of dealing with Brighter Loans as hassle free as possible for our customers, and as such, we won’t make you wait on call queuing, and we won’t inconvenience you with voice mail during office hours. We have a 3 ring policy and all our calls are answered by our highly trained Brighter Loans Account Managers. Your Personal Loan Officer will strive to make the whole loan process a quick, friendly and tailor-made solution for your personal requirements. They will also be on hand to answer any questions you have during the loan process
Licensed Credit Brokers
We are Licensed Credit Brokers, holding a Consumer Credit Licence (number - 529935) issued to us by The Office of Fair Trading (OFT). This enables us to carry out the business of processing loans. We also adhere to the industry guidelines issued by the OFT.
FSA Authorised
We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority in advising and arranging Non Investment Insurance Contracts. Registration Number 312576.
DPA Registered
We are registered under the Data Protection Act (1998), allowing us to offer complete confidentiality to our existing customers, as well as to all our prospective customers.
FISA Members
We are proud members of the Finance Industry Standards Association (FISA). We adhere strictly to the FISA Code of Conduct, whose principles extend above and beyond those enforced by the Office of Fair Trading under the Consumer Credit Act.
Financial Ombudsman Service
In the unlikely event you have a complaint you may want to contact the Financial Ombudsman Service, which is a free and independent service for resolving disputes with financial firms. They will liaise with us on your behalf and will then let you know directly of their decision.
